I have had the vinyl on repeat ever since I got it. The ending of Tartarus in particular is always breathtakingly beautiful. This entire album feels like an epic poem.

Gravenchalice takes a triumphant and complex sound and mixes it with classic Black Metal melodies and thundering drums that just works so well. This sound has been big since DSO became popular, however it doesn't take the dissonance and instead layers everything to make everything nice and beefy while having a great sense of melody. A great EP. 4/5

Kameron Bogges met en avant un tiraillement horrible, entre un post-metal d'une grande beauté par sa simplicité et des dissonances affreuses, aliénées (le piano sur "I'm Losing Myself"). Firstly, I will never tell what I saw on that cover art at first glance. Secondly, Ἀντιτιμωρουμένη brings even more dissonant and caustic sounds to the table than Τρωθησομένη, making it less immediate and therefore more challenging. But starting with track 4, something collapses, this album plunges into complete and utter disarray and will not stop for a second to haphazardly assault you for the remaining 30 minutes of its runtime. Breathtaking? Yes. Suffocating? Yes. Great? Absolutely.
